Children at Hafjell

The Hafjell Alpine Centre is extremely popular among families with children. The entire region around Lillehammer has plenty to offer kids, such as the specially designed children’s facilities next to the Alpine Centre. The children’s area is located right next to the start of the Hafjell Gondola, where the family’s youngest members can start their ski careers in fun and safe surroundings. A conveyor belt and two T-bar lifts allow kids to choose the skiing challenge appropriate to their skill level.

Lillehammer Ski Resorts can offer what may be Norway’s most varied network of runs, all within a 1-hour drive. You can visit one centre before lunch, and a different one in the afternoon. In addition, you get to enjoy the magnificent nature & culture of Gudbrandsdalen and its surrounding area. High mountain scenery, valleys, log cabins, ski lounges, warmth and hospitality. The only feeling you are guaranteed not to experience at Lillehammer Ski Resort is emptiness

Hafjell Park

Hafjell has three parks and many lines. Hafjell park is a great effort to Hafjell Alpine Centre this winter
HafjellParken is building a new park for the youngest park riders, and it will be ready for the season opening. The park will contain a 100m lift with two different rail lines with different difficulty. The parks location is at Mosetertoppen; the best location in Hafjell.
Where the riders want to be:
We want to make HafjellParken a even better place to be. We are building a new house where you can take some time off from riding in Hafjells best view. Music and wireless Internet access is there, so you can easily check your facebook status and upload your photos from your phone:)

Backyard and the Railpark:
Last years opening of Backyard was a success form day one. We are now putting in more lifts and have mores shaping hours to spend there to keep up with the massive use of the park. Our goal is to make the "most fun" blue park in Norway.

Hafjell Alpine Centre are also upgrading our rails and buying a lot of new ones. New snow makers is put up in the rail park, so vi are aiming for a early start.
